Amazon A+ Content Design - Basic, Premium and Brand Story

Most A+ Content looks fine on a desktop monitor and fails on a phone, where the majority of shoppers actually read it. We plan modules around the objections in your reviews, build them at Amazon's exact dimensions, and check every rule before submission.

  • Module stack planned from real customer objections
  • Built at exact module dimensions, mobile-legible
  • Basic, Premium A+ and Brand Story all covered

What A+ Content is, and who can use it

A+ Content is the enhanced block of images, text modules and comparison charts that appears below your bullet points on the product detail page. It was previously called Enhanced Brand Content, or EBC, and you will still see both names used. It is available free to sellers enrolled in Amazon Brand Registry, and it comes in three layers: Basic A+, Premium A+ and Brand Story.

The job of A+ Content is not decoration. It is the part of the page where you handle the objections that bullet points are too short to cover - sizing doubts, material questions, compatibility, which variant to pick. Done well it lifts conversion and cuts returns at the same time, because fewer people buy the wrong thing.

File requirements

  • Maximum 2 MB per image on standard modules.
  • Minimum 72 DPI; design at 2x and export down for high-density screens.
  • No animated GIFs.

  • Pricing, discounts or promotional claims such as "free shipping".
  • Superlatives you cannot substantiate, like "#1 best seller".

  • Competitor references or comparisons to named brands.
  • Text too small to read on a phone - keep in-image type at 24px or larger.

How We Works For
Amazon Content Production

Build a stronger Amazon product page with professional packshot photography, A+ and B+ Content, product videography and infographics—created to improve visibility, engagement and conversion.

1

Listing and review mining

We read your reviews and your competitors' reviews first. The objections people actually raise become the module plan.

2

Module stack proposal

You approve which modules run in which order, and what each one has to prove, before any design work starts.

3

Imagery production

New photography or design for each module - A+ images must be distinct from your gallery images, so they cannot simply be recycled.

4

Design and copy

Built at exact module dimensions in RGB, with text sized to stay legible on a phone rather than only on your monitor.

5

Compliance check

Checked against Amazon's content rules - no pricing, promotional claims, external URLs or contact details - before submission.

6

Delivery and submission support

Upload-ready files at spec, plus guidance through A+ Content Manager and any rejection feedback if it comes back.

Why PPD

Why Choose PPD for
Amazon Content Production

Get export-market pricing, consistent creative quality, Amazon-spec quality control, bulk catalogue support and full content ownership—all from one experienced Amazon-focused content studio.

Export-market pricing

A Dhaka studio with export-standard output, typically around 70% below comparable US, UK and EU studio rates.

One vendor, one look

Stills, video and design come out of the same studio and the same style guide, so the whole detail page matches.

Amazon-spec QC

Every file is checked against Amazon's current image, video and A+ requirements before delivery, not after rejection.

Bulk catalogue workflow

Built for multi-ASIN catalogues: consistent naming, per-SKU tracking and predictable batch delivery.

NDA and full IP transfer

You own every deliverable outright. We sign NDAs on request and never reuse client work without permission.

A team that sells on Amazon

Photographers, retouchers, designers and copywriters who work on Amazon listings every day, not generalists.

FAQ

Amazon Content Services FAQ for
Sellers, Brands and Exporters

Answers to common questions about Amazon product photography, listing video, A+ Content, B+ listing copy, Brand Registry, sample shipping to Dhaka, revisions, content ownership and pricing.

Yes. A+ Content, Premium A+ and Brand Story are all restricted to sellers enrolled in Amazon Brand Registry, which requires an active registered trademark. Without it we would focus on your packshots, gallery images and listing copy instead, all of which work on any professional selling account.
Basic gives you up to five modules at 970 pixels wide. Premium gives you up to seven at 1464 pixels edge-to-edge and unlocks video, hover hotspots, image carousels and Q&A modules. Both are free; Premium simply has to be earned through Brand Story coverage and a record of approved A+ submissions.
Amazon requires Brand Story published across your ASINs plus a track record of approved A+ submissions in the previous twelve months. The exact submission threshold has changed more than once, so check the current requirement in Seller Central - we build toward it with the Brand Story and a steady publishing cadence.
No. A+ Content is product-specific and answers "why buy this product". Brand Story is brand-wide, appears in the "From the brand" section above the description, and answers "who are you and what else do you sell". They are built in the same tool and they do different jobs, so avoid repeating content between them.
Amazon expects A+ imagery to be distinct from your main gallery images, so recycling gallery shots risks rejection and looks repetitive to shoppers. We produce module imagery specifically, which is why an A+ project usually pairs well with a packshot session.
The usual causes are pricing or promotional claims like "best seller" or "free shipping", external URLs or contact details, unverifiable superlatives, CMYK images, files over the size limit, or text too small to read on mobile. We check all of these before submission.
Amazon reports that Basic A+ can lift sales by up to around 8% and well-implemented Premium A+ by considerably more, and A+ also tends to reduce returns because shoppers understand what they are buying. Results vary by category and by how well the modules address real objections, which is why we start with review mining rather than a template.
Yes. We build a module system once, then apply it across a catalogue with per-ASIN variations for specs and imagery, which keeps the brand consistent and is far cheaper than designing each ASIN from scratch.
